13th of June.

My virgin cake for a friend's birthday! 

Despite looking like carrot cake, it's just a vanilla cake with mango buttercream. 

Gotta work on my frosting skills though.

The part of this recipe that makes me happy? 

Only 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter, and no yolks at all! 

I'd reckon pairing this delicate baby with a summery frosting. Thinking of strawberry or mango buttercream frosting. Something that isn't too sweet.
